MISSION
AMA is a non-profit, student-run organization whose main goal is to promote a better understanding of marketing and its role in the business world. We strive to:- Provide a venue to grow students' professional and social marketing network.
- Support in-class learning with real-world experiences.
- Help student’s transition into their careers by offering exposure to different marketing segments.
ABOUT AMA
Founded in 1937, the American Marketing Association is today the world’s largest and most comprehensive professional society for marketers, consisting of more than 45,000 worldwide members in 92 countries. Fifteen thousand collegiate members in 500 chapters throughout North America are already taking advantage of membership in AMA.
AMA offers its collegiate members exceptional networking and professional development opportunities. If you are studying or exploring a career in marketing, then AMA is a valuable source of leadership and guidance that can help you to become a competitive player in the market place. Our U of M chapter is continually finding new ways to provide our collegiate members with unmatched career development assistance.
